The next council meeting for Catawissa Borough Council will be 8/9/10.   The August meeting will be held at the Borough Hall at 7:00 p.m.

Upcoming Borough Events:

1.  August 6th - "Battle of the Bands" (for teenagers)  6:30 p.m. in CARA Park, Creek Road, Catawissa - No charge to attend this event - Refreshments available for purchase from the Catawissa Lions Club.  Bring your blankets and chairs.

2.  September 11, 2010 - Dumpster Day.  This is available to all Catawissa Borough and Township residents.  A $3 charge will be needed for tires and no items containing Freon will be accepted.

TO ALL RESIDENTS:  IT IS A STATE LAW THAT ALL VEHICLES MUST PARK RIGHT WHEEL TO CURB.  THE BOROUGH OF CATAWISSA POLICE WILL BEGIN ENFORCING THIS LAW. 

A copy of the proposed electric delinquent ordinance changes is available for review at the Borough Office during regular business hours.
